Spud In The Box
A fresh–on–the–scene band from Mumbai, ‘Spud in the Box‘ is an act founded by Ankit Dayal and Rohan Rajadhyaksha, around March 2011. The duo started small by playing early sets at Blue Frog, but soon saw the need to expand the sound; enter drummer Vivaan Kapoor and bassist Zubin Bhathena. With guitar duties split between Siddharth Talwar and Hartej Sawhney, ‘Spud in the Box’ was good to go.
Hoodwink Circle
The Hoodwink Circle is an eclectic mix of performers from all over Bombay. The members also play for or have played for bands like Louis Banks, Toufeeq Qureshi, Shibani Kashyap, Ash Chandler, Nandoo Bhende, Merlin Desouza, Manasi Scott, The Bombay Rock Project, Gino Banks, Para–Vayu, The Echoes, Sheldon d’ Silva, Asha Bhosle, Susie Q etc; and have come together to pursue their true musical roots, which are primarily based on Funk, Alternative and their derivations.
